A strong economy and a vibrant community are not competing goals. One makes the other possible.

Most residents care deeply about Pleasanton but do not always have the time to follow City Hall or understand how local decisions affect them.

My mission is to increase civic engagement by bringing more voices to City Hall. Before earning the position, I want to start doing the job: summarizing City Council agendas, sharing short updates, collecting community voices, and reporting back what decisions mean for residents.

I am Reena Gupta, Pleasanton resident since 2011, mom of two PUSD graduates, entrepreneur, former Economic Vitality Commissioner, Leadership Pleasanton graduate, Pleasanton Connects Ambassador, PUSD Career Technical Education advisor and founder of the Mom Relaunch Foundation. I have spent decades investing in the people, businesses and future of this community.
